In the wake of the first signs of political tensions between Europe and Russia in 2022, the musician friends Arem (Bern, Switzerland) and Illocanblo (St. Petersburg, Russia) started a collaborative music project. They began a creative exchange by sharing music tracks back and forth.
Since a meeting in the near future seems unlikely, the producers decided to release the project now. The result is the four-track mini-album "Lost Links," which falls into the genres of IDM, Electronica, D’n’B, Noise and Ambient.
The album cover consists of analog double-exposed films taken in spring 2024 in Bern and St. Petersburg, symbolizing the overcoming of political distances. In addition to the digital release, there is a limited edition of 33 sets, each containing four prints of additional images from the double-exposed film.
